Ranger Cookies

A classic family recipe for a unique cookie.

Ingredients

Butter(softened)1 Cup
Brown Sugar1 Cup
White Sugar1 Cup
Salt1/2 tsp
Baking soda1 tsp
Baking powder1/2 tsp
Eggs2 large
Flour2 Cups
Shredded Coconut1 Cup
Rice Krispies2 Cups
Quick Oats(dry)2 Cups
Chocolate Chips1 Cup

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. Add the eggs and flour. Mix well.
  4. Add the coconut, rice krispies, oats, and chocolate chips. Mix well.
  5. Make the dough into 1" balls and place on a cookie sheet.
  6. Mash the balls slightly with the tines of a fork.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
